TTC at 35 and having trouble.
BarefootMom posted:
I am 35 and have been trying since September 2012. I have a daughter that is five, when trying with her, we began in February and were pregnant by March. I suppose I am spoiled n that regard but this time around, we have been trying for 6 - 7 months with no luck. My cycle is 30 days and I am pretty regular. I tried taking ovulation predictors but most of the ones I got were difficult to use or read. I have a routine appointment in May but have become discouraged. Anyone with similar stories, tips, encouragement?
Hyacinth Nicole Browne, MD responded:
This is a fairly common problem. You can always try a different ovulation predictor kit to see if there is one that works better for you, or you can be monitored using an ultrasound and bloodwork to confirm ovulation.
I would discuss this further with your physician at your annual visit in May.
