Hi Doctor,

My husband, and I have been trying for 4 months with no luck. I know they say to give it a year if you still have no luck then seek help. I was wondering if there is anything my husband, and I could take to boost our fertility? I've heard a lot of good things about Maca Root, and Fertilaid would you refer those to your clients who have been trying less then a year? What would you refer we do? Thanks for your help.

Welcome, prayingforamiracle2011!

I'm not a doctor or fertility expert, but I thought I'd offer you some support. Here's a recent discussion about Early Fertility Testing which Dr. Copeland replied on.

I know you're excited to become pregnant, but it takes the average couple 4-7 months to get pregnant, so you're just reaching the lower end of average now. The Getting Pregnant Quiz may help give you a better idea of what to expect and some tips. Also take a look at Easy Ways to Encourage Fertility for more tips.

I remember how anxious I was if my period delayed for even a day or even by hours!!! I would be smiling to myself and feeling pregnancy symtoms and thanking God a 100 times for getting me pregnant and..... when Aunt flo showed up, I was soooo dissappointed and could not share my feelings to anyone. I'm glad, I came to this page and realized I was not alone! What miraculously worked for me is the way I composed myself and how I balanced myself in the final month of trying. I've writting a blog once I got pregnant for other people to be positive

I wrote a blog post a few months ago about this. Check it out and let me know if you have questions.
