ovarian cyst

have a history of an ovarian cyst on the left and right of my ovary but the last time i went to my OB last 3 years it was gone. my partner and me wants to have a baby but we always fail. i dont know if an ovarian cyst can affect in conceiving a baby. can someone give me an answer. .. thank you.

Cysts that become infected and cause scarring on fallopian tubes or those in relation to endometriosis can be associated with infertility, but it does not sound like these apply in your situation. This article will give you some more information, but generally speaking, normally appearing ovarian cysts that go away on their own should not have an affect on your ability to get pregnant.

How long have you and your partner been trying to conceive? It can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive naturally. You might find the information in our Guide to Getting Pregnant helpful.
