    Pregnancy after Cyst?
    gabzi posted:
I am almost 24 and my husband and I were TTC for over 2 years on our own and about a year ago started seeking answers to why we had not. It seems that I have spent the last year getting my hopes up, then new issues arise. I have had a cyst on my left ovary since I was about 15 years old, was put on BC and always told to come back in 6 months everytime they saw it was still there. 9 years later doctors are still telling me that it is too small and should not be affecting my infertility. I have heard rumors that a lot of woman get pregnant shortly after a cyst is gone. Has anyone experienced this first hand? I am basically searching for a glimor of hope here. The clomid cycles, that were unsuccessful in producing ovulation to the max dose fed my cyst and made it too large, found this out on my teaching visit for IVF. The ultrasound I had that day to check follicles, they could not locate my right ovary and at this point unclear as to if it is there or just hiding I guess. IVF was suppose to bypass all my tubal issues (L tube is good, R tube may have been cut in a childhood surgery) and my doc seemed hopeful. Now I am currently on Aygestin to shrink the cyst and just hoping that something goes right. Most likely rambling but just have so much to say and it is hard to find people around who understand and have more to say than "it will happen for you". Oh how I hate that!
