Congratulations on the boy! How has the pregnancy been so far? I've seen several of the women that were on the boards when I joined move on to the pregnancy boards. I hope that's a sign I'm soon to follow. I've been passed along to an RE and going to start femara, gonal-f, and HCG trigger as soon as AF shows. My injections arrived today so I'm ready to roll any time.

Congrats on the boy! Good to hear from you. i had a rather large cyst removed from my right Fallopian tube in January, so were trying again, IUI, 10 days past IUI today. I've been thinking about you and nordygirl, I hope she's doing ok after her scary incident with her face drooping. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy!

Hi BabyParks! I have been wondering how your pregnancy was going. Congrats on it being a boy! That will be exciting for your other son!

I have done 3 IUIs all BFNs and am now being referred to an RE. Our first appointment is March 21st. I am really excited to start this new path with TTC. I am hoping he will be able to tell me a little bit more about why I haven't been able to get pregnant.

Glad to hear everything with you is going good! Keep in touch!

Thank you so much! I am doing well! I actually wrote you back on the other board and congratulated you on the pregnancy then to read below it was chemical. I felt so bad for posting it and not being able to erase it. Just know I am praying for you and thinking about you. I hope you have success very very soon! Nordygirl is doing good too. She is doing better with her Palsy and she is feeling better now. I am friends with her on facebook so we try to stay in touch. She is just really tired and I am sure it's hard carrying two!

Thank you very much! I think he will enjoy a baby brother and he will be a great big brother and is very loving! I am sorry tohear about your BFN that is so hard going thru all of those IUI's to get negatives. I will be praying for you too! Please let me know what RE suggest. Do you have any kind of pains each month, just curious if something else could be going on. I was having pain in ovaries every month and didn't really think I would have anything and had the surgery and had endometriosis, severe scar tissue and I was so surprised. I figure that was not helping us in getting pregnant either. Hubby also got on a good vitamin and that helped his counts as well I think. I know it was all in God's time too as well but know we did all we could to get pregnant and it finally happened off of any treatments. Keep me posted K!

att76 replied to BabyParks's response:
You know it is funny that you would ask if I was having pains. I HAVE been having pains and I have thought (for many years, not just since we started trying) that I have other "issues" going on. I had my appendix out about 8 years ago and the doctor who did the surgery said he removed a small amount (dime size amount) of endometriosis. I have also thought that since then the pains I am feeling could be the endo coming back and scar tissue. I would like to have an exploratory surgery done just to check all that out, but I know many doctors don't like to do them. Endo is def. something that runs in families and all of my sisters have had it at one time or another. I have thought about getting the Megaman vitamins for my husband. He doesn't have mobility issues, but it really couldn't hurt...right? I appreciate the advise and just know that it has been things that have crossed my mind. I am hoping I can maybe ask the RE when I go there on the 21st. Thanks again and keep us posted on your pregnancy!

I love these boards because there are other people that think like I do! I made my hubby start taking Megaman vitamins because I figured it couldn't hurt and might help. He rolled his eyes, but he's taking them. I figure we should do everything we can, especially as much money as we're already spending.

BabyParks replied to att76's response:
What I did since I was having pain was instead of going thru my RE to do the surgery I searched for someone to help with my pain. I have a friend that told me about a place in Birmingham, AL that specialized in pelvic pain. So they don't just deal with fertility they want to see where the pain is coming from. All I told him was I had pain every month mid cycle which i did and fairly heavy periods and he said I think surgery is the best solution. I also ended up having Scar tissue, endo, interstitial cystitis(bladder isses) and they also took out my appendix as well. I am so thankful I had it, not only did it help with all my pain(during intercourse as well) it helped with fertility I am sure. I had endo all over my ovaries so no wonder I probably was ovulating but may not have been releasing an egg who knows. And the Megamen pills won't hurt a thing. I would get him some and get you something too. We both took them from GNC and that is what also helped I think. Check into that pain, especially if it keeps coming up in your mind like it did me. I just thought for sure there was nothing wrong but something kept telling me to have surgery. I would google search for pain doctors in your area that specialize with endometriosis and pelvic pain ect. Let me know what you find out. I am excited for you!

BabyParks replied to BabyParks's response:
I also mentioned to him about painful intercouse too and that was another main reason for surgery was to try to help with that!!! Keep me posted!

att76 replied to BabyParks's response:
Gosh, reading your post here sounds just like me! I have had pain during intercourse and always thought nothing of it. But it would make sense that there would be issues! I will have to check into the pelvic pain doctors. I don't know if there would be anyone close to me (I live in South Dakota), but will check it out. Thanks for the advice!

BabyParks replied to att76's response:
yeah or just ask your regular obgyn about how bad you hurt. Think of everything that happens in your cycle anything you think is normal even and research and see if it really is. Somethings I thougth were norm weren't really norm. I also would tell them about painful intercourse for sure. I hope you can find a specialist but if not keep on your obgyn until they do something and let them know how long you have been trying to conceive as well. There could be a solution. I took something different. Iwill have to look and see what it was. It was just a womens vitamin from them.
