Mixed emotions

I am new to this site... My husband and I tried to get pregnant for about a year with no success... After being referred to a fertility specialist and going through all the testing we fund out that the problem was with me:( Diagnosed with anovulation.... Went forward with injections and IUI.... First try unsuccessfull:( on day 3 of next cycle they found 3 cysts so we couldn't do another cycle. We were heartbroken:( about 1week after that news we found out my younger sister was 12 weeks pregnant. I am feeling a complete mix of emotions! I hope there is someone out there that can give me hope or even guidance!

Hi and welcome

It's never easy to want something so badly and yet you have to sit back and watch it happen to everyone else around you.
I hate to say it, but it never gets easier. You just have to keep the faith and know that there is a master plan out there for you & your hubby. Unfortunately, it may not be as straight of a road as it seems for everyone else. But in the end it will work out how it's supposed to.

After a 4 year break from fertility treatments, my hubby & I are finally back in the game, and I actually have my sister to thank, who is currently going throught adoption. She gave me the most incredible analogy that just made a light switch go on:

Picture a giant staircase and at the top of that staircase is you with a baby in your arms. You are standing at the bottom of the staircase, every decision, you make whether fertility treatments (or adoption) is another step up. Unfortunately, some days are going to be a step or two back down the staircase, but somedays your going to move up & eventually you will make it to the top and have a baby in your arms.

One thing I have also learned throughout our journey, is that if at the end of this, God's plan isn't for me to be a mom, I am sure going to be the best aunt in the entire world to my 5 neices and nephews!

Sorry this is so long, but I hope things look up for you and your hubby
