IVF Meds and Thyroid Disease
An_247696 posted:
I was hoping that someone would be able to clear up some information that I have been reading online....

I have been reading posts from women who have undergone infertility treatment through IVF. There have been several posts indicating that the use of the IVF meds (lupron.. etc) have left these women with permanent thyroid disease. Is there any truth to IVF meds causing throiyd disease? If so, what is the likelyhood if this occuring. I am just starting my first roung of IVF treatment and I am concerned about this. I also have a famliy history of thyroid disease, however, I have been tested and have normail thyroid levels.

Please help!
