Estradiol ? during stims
tricia0331 posted:
Hi Just wondering about estradiol numbers during stims and what's the norm. I have gotten 6 days of shots and my estradiol is 938. I feel kind of clueless about what the target numbers are- i know its indicating the maturity of the follicles. thanks for any insight.

Have a Good weekend

I never remember what the "norms" are but your RE looks to see that its rising appropriately, which indicates your ovaries are still working on those follies, but not going too high, which would put you at risk for OHSS. It all relates to how many days of stims you've done. I know most RE get concerned about OHSS with E2 levels around 3000-5000 (for IVFers). During my last cycle my E2 the day of my hcg trigger was 3700 and I was only allowed to give myself half the dose, I had mild OHSS. Since I could never remember what levels were good on any given day of stims, I would always ask the nurse how it correlated to where I was. So if you don't find any good answers, just ask them. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Good luck, keep us posted!
