I'm 38 and 26 weeks, I took the Blood CVS. I was kinda scared of the amniocentesis so I took the blood test. My counselor told me the odds of each. With the Amniocentesis there is a 99% chance of correct diagnosis and 89% with the blood. However the blood has two rounds of testing. Mine came back fine, and I wasn't asked to take the amnio. However, they told me IF my results were low, then they would have suggested for me to take the amnio.
