Warnings for Baclofen include CKD. Why and how does this drug affect CKD?

Any drug that is excreted mainly via the kidneys has a potential for causing additional damage.

A lot of drugs, most of them in fact, pass through the liver before being excreted, and therefore are slightly less toxic than in their UN-metabolized form.

Ask your physician for more details as regards your specific case and state of renal function.
