Knee use after replacement
An_245430 posted:
Hi. I'm new to this site & hope you can answer this question for me. On Jan 20 I had my left knee replaced. In the beginning I made good progress but after rehab I didn't keep up with it. Even so I'm doing well but I'm afraid to kneel on it. If I fall I need to be able to get back up. Can I put enough pressure on the knee to get up without damaging it?
Bal M Rajagopalan, MD responded:

You should be able to. The knee is very durable so do not worry too much.
