Knee pain after Replacement

TeriG1962 posted:
I had my right knee replaced a couple of years ago, and the pain has never went away. I got a new Dr. and he took xrays and found out it is loose. Is this something that often happens or just my luck? Can it be fixed?
Any answers would be great.

Thanks

My Mom is going through this right now. She is 3 years out and has finally been healthy enough to have the loose knee replaced. It was her only option. Suggest a 2nd opinion and a different surgeon! Mom's thigh had been trimmed too short and that was why it loosened. She needed a complete replacement! Good Luck!
