total hip replacement on both hips
avatar
gwall2007 posted:
I have had 4 hip replacements since 1982. The first one in 1982, and three revisions since then. My other hip (rt) has had arthritis for a few years, but now is getting worse. I am seeking others that have had replacements on both hips and how they are doing today. Also, I am a diabetic (type II) and want to know how this surgery would affect my diabetes. Any info. would be helpful for me. Thanks

Hello,

The surgery will not alter your diabetes. Your sugar may be off due to surgery and inactivity but that should change soon once you recover.
