Kneecap out of place

I had a TKR in Oct.2010. Have had knee pain ever since. About a year post sx the X-rays show my kneecap is not centered, has slipped to one side. Two surgeons have told me this can happen and does not cause pain. Has anyone heard of this? Does it even make sense? I am going back for PT to try and strengthen the leg, hope it works; Any excercise is uncomfortable.

My knee cap has shifted and It HURTS. I was told it was pinching nerves and tendons. PT helps but when I run out of insurance visits the knee shifts back to the left. Wish I knew what to do
