CANCELLED TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT

I was scheduled for THR this week and my lumbar MRI came back with a lesion on m L5. THey have scheduled me for a bone scan to see if its malignant. I think my doctor is going to cancel my THR. Why would he do that?

One thing at a time. Something similar happened to a good friend of mine. It turned out OK, but her surgeon did tell her that if necessary, her surgery would be cancelled until this other problem could be addressed and tended to.

Have faith in your doctor...he/she will do what is required and what is best for your condition.
