TAKING OF SOMEONE AFTER THEY HAVE A HIP REPLACEMENT

Can anyone please provide with me some information or tips on what to expect and what to do in regards to taking care of my best friend who is female after she has a complete hip replacement and is sent home.

If you do a web search, that should help. My husband helped me the first week or so, eg bringing me things, getting things from upstairs so I wouldn't have to climb stairs too often, and he bought and set up the shower chair and raised toilet seat. He also was helpful when I knocked over my crutches and couldn't bend over to pick them up. He also reminded me of my "hip precautions" when I forgot. After a few days he was gone for a long day and I was able to manage.
