TKR - Cement left in after surgery / Back Pain

Has anyone had cement left in their knee after the TKR? I'm 4 years post, and my knee feels swollen all the time - like it has a rubber band around it. Anyone have this happen to them? And, I've had back problems since my surgery - really bad!

They say that if I had the cement removed, it could be that I could then get infection!

I really don't understand what you're asking. The cement is supposed to be left in your knee, That's what is holding the new knee in place.
