replacement knee tight

left knee replaced 3 years ago, doing great, been riding bike, no pain, 3 weeks ago riding and at end of all day ride got a bad cramp at top of knee, thigh mussle front toward inside just above knee. had same cramp on both knees, next day no problems and rode bike some more. one week back hit a chair with knee, not hard but a little pain like a mussle bruze. a few days later my knee is swelling by end of day and gets tight. ice bring swelling down but knee is most always tight and maybe flexs 90 degrees. i stop riding bike and walking. need advise please
