TKR & Infection possible amputation
supergirldoxie posted:
I've had 3 TKR's 7 surgeries 7 nursing homes for IV antibiotic therapy and I'm looking at another surgery this Tuesday cause it looks like I have another infection starting at the top of the original incision, my doctor feels the only option is, if it is an infection is, to either take out all the hardware and leave it out or to cut of my leg. I'm really scared and if there is anyone out there who has any similar experience or know of any one who's gone through any of this please write and share your information I'm hoping I can find some way to save my leg. Please help me save my leg!!!!!!!
