new knee replacement

I had a total knee replacement on my left knee in july of 2012. I still have numbness and stiffness in this knee, but I can walk without pain in that leg. scheduled the right knee for May 12th. Will I always have the numbness and stiffness in both knees after the other surgery? Anyone who has done both knees at separate times, with any suggestions or feedback?
