dressing tips after reverse shoulder

An_206525 posted:

Can anyone give me tips on dressing, bathing, and eating after a reverse shoulder replacement ?? My surgery is set for January and I'm staring to panic about the above situations.
Any other things you can offer in the way of support and things I've not thought about.

I've never had a shoulder replacement but have had several shoulder surgeries. The best thing for you is to spend a weekend in a sling. Then you will know what things you will and won't be able to do. Are you male or female? That will make a difference when it comes to using the restroom and whether or not you wear a bra. If you're a woman, get some bras that hook in the front.
