I'm confused. What don't you believe? That your knee hurts? I'd say you've gotten pretty good mileage.

My knee replacement hasn't worn out yet but I imagine pain in my knee would be my first symptom.

I would not be having surgery on my hip or spine without knowing for sure that pain is originating there. I'm a little confused about why you are considering this when your knee is what's hurting. You should know that spinal surgery is only about 50% successful for treating pain so that's not something you even want to consider without several opinions. Before you do anything you need to have MRIs and x-rays on your hips and spine. Take one thing at a time. Don't try and find one cause for all your pain because it's possible to have more than one thing wrong at a time. And definitely get as many opinions from orthopedic surgeons as possible before having any kind of surgery.

I( have had surgeons examine xray of knees
    they say replacements are fine
but they want to replace my hips
    or work on my spine

yet I am not confident that the knee replacements are in good shape
they hurt and any time I bend forward they click like castenets
I cant find, any where...the symptons of failing replacement knees..that is what I am looking for so I can argue with these guys
