Mind Clutter: Procrastination & Postponing

Well, I couldn't get to the beach because I was already running late and had to wait 45 minutes for no bus to come. So I went back home to put the beach gear away and quickly change my plans. I waited another 10 minutes and the bus arrived. I ended up at the hospital dental clinic where I made an appointment to see a dentist.

It will take a few weeks--I guess if things get really bad I can make an earlier appointment.

I wish I had the money to go to an excellent dentist, but I can do only what I can do.

I am proud of myself for making the appointment, one I have been putting off since late February!

Thats wonderful! Hope you have made it to the beach since this post:)

Me too. Appointments. I've had an appointment almost every day it seems for my daughter. I procrastinated that too and I don't know why. Which means I've gotten worse in the last few years.
However, I made the needed appointments, followed through and she got what she needed done. Thank goodness.
Oral surgery and now we can continue along with her orthodontist appointments. She's going to have beautiful teeth!

For me, I'll have to work on that one. I'm due for a physical, and dentist appointments too. I'll have a cleaning but can't afford the work that I need done.

Well, off to finish the dishes:)

My living room is a mess, because I'm getting rid of lots of stuff--I'm currently not procrastinating. I've made 4 piles:

1. recycle
2. shred
3. keep
4. trash

A woman I know said her new year's resolution was this: To handle a piece of paper just once, meaning, something has to be done with it, like my numbers one through four.

I have an empty book shelf that is pretty tall. I'm trying to use the space wisely.

I did go to the dentist, and the new dentists there seem to be good enough. The one I had took xrays and cleaned my teeth without hurting me even a little, unlike some hygienists I've been to.

She said I need a crown--It costs mega bucks, which I don't have. Besides, I'm paying vet bills. Arrrgh!

"Calgon, take me away!" (Does anyone remember that commercial?)

I'm happy to hear your daughter's teeth are being cared for. I guess it's easier to get treatment for children than it is for adults.

I hope your clinic visits turn out well.

I have made it to the beach many times this summer. I'm so very happy about that. What has me sad is that the days are getting cooler I am, however, resolved to go to the beach year-round now just to get that refreshed feeling.

It's good hearing from you.
