My mother was diagnosed on July 15with Stage 4 lung cancer. She had no history of it and there were no obvious symptoms. After getting really confused and not getting better doctors ran a series of test (2-3 weeks). That's when they told me it was fatal and to far gone for anything. They told me she had approximately a month to live because it had already spread to her brain and bones:( She passed on July 30th. I am still at a loss of words. I'm not sure how serious or how far along your mother's cancer is but spend every moment of time with her. You only get one.
