Diagnosed with lung cancer

I was told that I have 2 spots in top of rt lung and alot of small spots in both. Now I go for a biopsy next week. I am just terrified of the thought of chemo and all that. It still feels like a dream and I will wake up soon.
I am just curious if maybe the biopsy could come back not cancer? Any such luck?

Certainly. You address your post with "diagnosed with cancer" but typically until a biopsy is done one cannot be provided with an accurate answer on what these spots may represent.

Hopefully the biopsy results will not show this as lung cancer.

He told me that he and his associates reveiwed my pet scan before my appt and that the spots really lit up as to be cancer. But I pray you are right and it isnt!! But he said he didnt want to get my hopes up to get bad news! So what do you do. I am just praying for good news, but family history and all is working against me too. But I will be the happiest person on earth if they are wrong!!!
