Hi, I was diagnosed with stage 3 but when I went to the oncologist for my 1st appt he says I am stage 4 because I have the spots on the top of the rt lung, lympth nodes around the windpipe and with the small spots in both lungs makes it stage 4. But he says I should do well on chemo and radiation. I go for a mri on Weds to amke sure it isnt in the brain.
My question is how long was it for everyone from diagnosis till treatment started? They seem to be moving a lil slow. I wouls think it would be asap!
I am still not sure of everything and it hasnt sank in. I just dont know where to start. Still have to see a radiologist for radiation discussion yet. But he wants me to do 1 week on and 3 wks off of chemo......any comments from you as far as time lines and out comes for anyone at my stage would help!!
