Toxemia

My mom was recently diagnosed with Stage IIIB lung cancer. They treated with radiation 5 days a week for 35 treatments along with chemo once a week. After the radiation treatment, they tripled her chemo treatments since her numbers did not go down. She has now developed toxemia & they have stopped the chemo treatments. The only reference I can find regarding toxemia is pregnancy related. Has anyone had any experience with this as it relates to cancer? (I live hundreds of miles away from my mom so I have not been able to be as involved in the day to day aspects of her cancer & I am sure she is buffers some of what she shares with me.)
