I have attempted to read my medical reports from MRI & chest Xrays. One the reports I have read the following

small nodules on lower lung. Low Lung Volume. Probable minimal basilar atelectasis.

The question is I was told 2006 I had this small nodule and not to be worried. Now 5 yrs later I have Low lung volume and basilar atelectasis.
My Mother had some of her right lung removed many years ago, and unfortunately I cant remember why. Is this something that I need to be concerned about.

I also was told another aortic root/valve aneursym 3.6cm was found the same day the lung became part of the picture.
Thank you
