my husband has stage 111 lung cancer. The left lung has collasped and the tumor is on top of the lung. They have done 6 weeks of external radiation and 3 weeks of internal radiation, he will have his4th chemo session this week. The radiology doctor said he only had one more week of radiation. We see the chemo doctor this week. She also said that so far his lung hasn't opened up. I am worried aabout what hapens when they stop all treatments. Will his regular plumologist handle things from there or do more treatments. Will there be any hope that it'll open up and the tumor will shrink. I am just very worried and concerned about him. What are your thoughts?
