So, I guess I shouldn't be surprised my mom (a lifetime smoker) has tumors on both lungs, and the spleen. The debate is to treat or not? Of course we are in the in the start of this. The Dr. says he is going to order a biopsy so that he knows what he is dealing with and he says it doesn't look good. With all that news do we have hope? I know that I just want what is best for my mom. What is in store for us? She is the only parent I have.

Wait for the results of the biopsy; you and your mother can then discuss treatment options with her physician.
