My 78 year old father has been diagnosed with recurrent lung cancer that has spread to the adrenal glands. The doctor wants to begin chemo again. I am not sure about the right course of action, I do not want my father to suffer for. The rest of his life due to chemo side effects. I am not sure what the prognosis is at this point either with or without the chemo. I would appreciate any input. My father has an appointment with the oncologist next week to set up the chemo. What questions should I ask. my father and mother seem lost, I want to help them understand what is going to happen. Thank you.
