has anyone had a right lung removed? could you please tell me what you felt like and how your recuperation was? my dr. discussions dwell mostly on hospital time and that it is painful but they will do their best to make me comfortable.

my mom just had hers out on Friday. was out of ICU Saturday. looking to come home this Saturday. She lives 3 hours from the hospital or they would consider thur or fri. I'm tryign to figure out if she will be needing help at home. she is 64 and was getting around well and dad is 67. I plan on taking time to stay with her but have no idea if it will really be necessary. any ideas??
