My husband has stage IIII lung cancer. He is getting chemo treatments,although I don't see ant positive results. That said, my question is; he keeps falling down for no reason. No dizziness, nothing. He just gets up, takes a few steps & falls. Can anyone PLEASE explain to me why this is happening??

Lmr09, we found out why. The Onocologist he has been seeing is a fool. He has never ordered blood work any sooner than 4 or 5 weeks brfore his next treatment, I ended up taking him to the hospital ER, where they ran labs. His red blood cell count was down to 5. 5!! Its supposed to be 10, 8 at the lowest. My husband needed 8 units of blood in a 5 day timespan. A week later, I asked the Ono why he waits so long to do labs on a stage IIII cancer patient?? He had no real awnser, & my husband was admitted yet AGAIN that same day & we found out that while he was falling down, @ one point he hit the back of his head, causing a Postierior Occular concussion, which made him see things & talk to dead people.. Get your dad's blood checked. See how his red cell count is, he may need a transfusion. We have decided to go to another Onocologist. My husband isn't being treated.. his tumor 'is' hes the vessel that carries it. He is depressed, exausted & his spirit is breaking. If your dad or your family doesn't like the way things are going with his treatment, please, find another Dr. All Stage IIII patients & their loved ones know they are on borrowed time. The time they have left here with us should be fufilling & happy as possible. I'm sorry for your dad.. I lost mine 3 yrs ago to the same disease.. </3
