Hi, I have a relative who will be getting lung surgery to remove a small mass of cancer. I know that they will have a chest tube afterwards but how are they otherwise? I'm scared to know how much pain they might be in and what kind of care they need when they return from the hospital...? can anyone let me know how it is after this kind of surgery? what is there energy level? do they need help with going to hte bathroom and other daily activites?
