In October 2010, a shadow was noticed on a CT scan that was done for an unrelated issue. The scan was repeated but the doctor couldn't say for sure what it was and because it was less that 3 mm couldn't do a biopsy so in February 2011 I had a PET scan done. Nothing lit up and the size was smaller. Yeah! They thought it must have been an infection or past scar. 6 months later I had repeat CT scan, no change and just 3 weeks ago had another 6 month scan but now the lesion has grown. I don't know how much but am going to see a thurastic surgeon on August 27. I have read a lot and none of it sounds good because of the growth. Why would the PET scan not lite up but now it all changes. Obviously I'm worried sick.

Like the others, you need to go to yahoo search and type in: www(dot)beckwithfamily(dot)com/canceranswer/tapetranscriptions I had to spell out the dots because computwers tend to chang a site and kill it. OK. Just replace the dots (.)s like you normally do and it will work fine.

The symptoms confuses me too, a fiend of mine has the same condition but according to the doctor it wasn't a lung cancer.
