Freaking out here...possible lung cancer?

My partner has been getting pneumonia/bronchitis for about six years now. There were nodes last time, but they went away. Now they are back and today we found out that they grew al little. The doctor is sending her to Roswell Park Cancer Institute because he doesn't want to have her wait until the end of Janurary, to see a lung doctor. She may now have bronchitis as well. She does have bad sinuses. She we be worried right now? I have been balling my eyes out since the doctors office, but she doesn't seem to be reacting. Is there any other condition that could cause that besides lung cancer? Any information would be great.

That's exactly how I was. Thankfully, her doctor at Roswell Park Cancer Institute told us that her nodules are from an infection. She did have pneumonia and bronchitis beforehand. Has your man had any infections lately? Like a cold, sinus issues, etc.
