Going to the Rheumy today for my follow up blood work. After increasing the steroids, he wants to see if that helped decrease the protein in my urine and increase my serum albumin levels. Unfortunately it will take a week to get the results back!!!

I went to the Avalanche v. Red Wings hockey gameon Saturday and my Wings won! YAY!!! It is always so gratifying to see them beat the Av's!!! Especially because all the Av fans shout RED WINGS SUCK several times during a game-No class!!!

Next Sunday is my birthday! Hopefully I will feel well enough to celebrate it! I am officially on the heels of the big 5-0!!!

Other than that, not a whole lot going on!

Congrats to the Red Wings! I don't watch much when it comes to sports. And since Utah doesn't have a real hockey team (yeah the Utah Grizzlies but they aren't major league) I don't follow the sport.

I hope the test come back favorably for you. And an early "66A"66B"66A"66B Happy Birthday! "66A"66B"66A"66B to you.

I see my rheumy next week and am looking forward to it. I finally beat the kidney infection that plagued me all of September. Now I'm driving my husband crazy with the never ending cough and the non-stop spasming legs while asleep. Seems like if it isn't one thing it's another.

I'm also waiting to hear back on a job with a different area of the company I work for. This one will actually give me a set/normal schedule with guarenteed hours. Right now I'm supposed to get 72hr/pay period but am lucky to be scheduled 65hrs. Talk about financial stress! Keep your fingers crossed that I get it!

Other than that, we had a great weekend. Lots of family time and baking time. Tonight we get to eat mystery squash that we got from a friends farm. They let the squash from last year replant itself and have some strange crosses. We think the one we are having tonight is a cross between a spaghetti squash and a butternut squash. Should be good.

Well now that my finger tips are nice and blue and it is painful to type I should get back to work. Have a great week everyone!

I hope your blood work comes back well. Although we live in Maryland my husband is from Minn. so he and my kids are Vikings fans. I grew up outside of Philly so I am more of a Flyers fan; though I do not take it as seriously as the rest, sometimes more to be annoying lol.

I turned 51 this past July so know I have to say I am in my fifties. It seemed like a big difference than saying I just turned 50. Have a wonderful birthday no matter what you do!!!

I would never guess you to be going on fifty Lisa! You look far too young.

My man and I took an amazing little 3 day weekend to southern Indiana. We went to a bed and breakfast and did a little casino gambling. Enjoyed being on the Ohio River for a beautiful sunset walk.... Was good to be away without his daughter, no work, no studying, just us. My body is not happy with me for doing all that walking and traveling. He noticed the one night I was in alot of pain. I didn't say it, but he could tell from how I moved, so he is learning and supportive of me. I know now, I have met the love of my life.
