    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

Hello everyone! My name is Michelle. I'm new here and was recently (as in a month ago) diagnosed with lupus. My rheumatologist has yet to tell me which kind but I'm thinking it's SLE. I had been seeing her since January and she thought I had RA at first.

Well I was admitted into the hospital at the end of April with pleural effusion, a rash, and various other types of issues. After doing some more blood work (beside the usual ANA and CRP studies), she came to the conclusion that lupus is what I have.

    Hi Michelle!

Welcome! I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis of lupus. We're glad you found us! This board tends to slow down quite a bit in the summer so if you don't get an immediate response, that is probably why!
