    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

    Hair Loss with Cytoxan
    MIBeth posted:
I'm having the worst flare of my life and have had one infusion of Cytoxan and within 7 days have lost 2/3 of my hair. Has anyone else lost their hair this quickly? I also take prednisone and methotrexate on the off weeks.
    1stLadyDi responded:
Wow, I am so sorry to hear about your hair loss. That has to be devastating. I don't know anything about that particular medication. What has your doctor got to say about this. It seems that you have quite a bit of high-powered drugs combined. I no longer take prednisone; I do take methotrexate & plaquenil along with a whole host of other meds. I hope you get some help with your flare & hair loss really soon.
