Dietary Changes

Hi! I'm back on the site after a very long absence. Between health, work, and family, I was too overwhelmed to do much of anything else. But I did miss the friendship and support I felt from my Web Md family. I'm excited to be back.

I do have a question. Have any of you made any dietary changes to help with the lupus? I've also been dx with RA, and I've gone gluten free to help reduce inflammation? Has anyone else done something like that which helped?

I am trying to incorporate more fruit & raw veggies in my diet but am having a difficult time for 2 reasons: expense & time/energy (to go to the store and/or fix anything) after working 10 hr shifts at midnight. Has going on a gluten free diet helped reduce your inflammation? I am considering trying a little juice cleansing once I can motivate myself to shop and learn the new juicing blender (almost like Nutri bullet) I bought. Since my daughter is working more hours, I am trying to do a little more on my own after duty hours.
