protein in urine

have lupus and for the past 3yrs no insurance about 2yrs ago i started having blood in my urine off and on. for the past year or so i have protein in my urine always. now i also have leukocytes off and on. for a long time there was no pain but now i.hurt in.my back on.the.left side and.have.some.pain.on.the.left hip and.pelvis area.

You might have issues with your kidneys due to the lupus. It is quite common. A kidney biopsy can figure out exactly what is going on and whether the lupus is attacking your kidneys. Talk to a doctor specifically a nephrologist. They might be able to do some testing that is more conclusive.
