Bad news first: I have membranous glomerurelonephritis class V.

My Nephrologist and Rheumatologist are going to talk to discuss treatment options, but of course my rheumy is out of town for two weeks!!! Benlysta (a new lupus drug) is probably what they will decide to do.

The good news is that the first time I had lupus nephritis (1999), it was diffuse proliferative lupus glomurelonephritis which is much worse than the membranous type. So at least I have that going for me!

    Hey Lisa!

I guess we have to look at the small successes - at least your kidneys are a tad bit better ! I read that they sent you to the ER last night - how did it turn out? Hope you are feeling today?

    Hope you are doing better!

    Hugs,

    Lisa
