A virgin here in this discussion group. I believe in staying positive and living my life to the fullest even in my current situation.I have Mixed connective tissue disease and maybe lupus. Take plaquenil 400mg. My main symptom is abdominal pain and swelling. Haven't worn a jeans for 4 years now! Can't wear anything tight or anything with a button or buckle in front. I look great in skirts(that too with the side zipper ones). I have bacterial overgrowth. First time I took the antibiotic, Xifaxan, it was very effective. Also now I am scared of sun. It makes my skin burn in spite of using sunscreen and spf's, spf clothing and wide brim hats. Went to nantucket island few weeks back when the weather was in the 70's and ended getting up a big rash on the leg from the sun. Anyone here have these symptoms and would love to hear if they found anything that helped them.
