Lupus and implants

I was recently diagnosed with lupus and have been having a lot of pain behind one of my implants. The doctor thinks it's the gland and not the implant . Has anyone experienced this?

I to have that problem . At times mine get so sore and I have sharp pains . I just massage them w lotion it helps
