My doctor put me on Vitamin D when I was pregnant, to help prevent any of the negative effects that I might have if my lupus decided to flare up. It's hard to say that it was helpful, because I was pregnant at the time... but it definitely improved my mood.

My rheumatologist has me on 50,000 per week. He says Lupus patients need the extra.
