3.5 ml x 32 mil/ml = 112 million sperm so his testicular output looks great, normal is 40 million or higher.
112 x 30% = 33.6 million total motile this is also good since normal fertility is 15 million motile or higher.
The motility grading if A = rapid and D = sluggish or immotile we would like to more sperm in the A and B categories to know what sperm is showing movement are strong swimmers. A number of things can impact motility so following a sperm healthy lifestyle is very important. No heat to the testicles, no hot tubs, hot bathes etc, no smoking or other drug use, alcohol only in moderation = no more than 2 drinks a day, check side effects for any medications currently taking, check is any chemical exposures, eat a healthy well balanced diet.
Since count is high this offsets the motility being a little low. Normal motility is considered 40% or higher. I would read over my sperm healthy lifestyle guidelines to make sure there isn't doing something day to day that can lower motility. I also recommend starting on a fertility blended vitamin such as FertilAid for Men and their Motility Booster.
Morphology or normal forms at 50% looks good. Not sure what test they used but with a Kruger Strict 4% or high is acceptable and other methods classify 14% and 30% normal as acceptable so 50% is well above all those different types of testing.
The vitamins can help improve that motility and morphology so it might be the edge needed for a successful conception. Overall numbers look great. How long have you been trying to get pregnant?
Was any lubricant used in the collection process? Lubricant can decrease motility.
It is always a good idea to test another sample in 1-2 months since it is hard to base full fertility off 1 sample alone.
