My husben had his sperm count tested and the doctor said that there was nothing. He didn't suggest other testing based on my husbands history either. My husband has recently had a pain pump implanted due to back issues. He is on muscle relaxors and nerve blockers. Is there any point in doing further testing? If he is sterile...is there anything that could be done?

This is a complicated case due to other health problems.

He should see an urologist to review all his medications and past medical history to see if that is the cause of sterility and if making some changes could bring back that sperm production.

No further testing is needed until he meets with the urologist who will want to check his hormone levels.

Don't give up just get him into the right doctor for the problem at hand!
