Hi ,i am new at this my husband got results for semen analysis i am lost i want to know if he is normal or what he is low in and if this can be fixed.




sperm count:130.0 millilon/mL

sperm morphology 4% normal forms

please help me.

The count looks great but that motility is low and the only problem I see with his results.

He should have a full exam by an urologist with male factor infertility training to see what might be the cause of this low motility and how it can be improved.

Does he smoke or drink alcohol? A drink or two is considered moderation and okay. Has he been examined for a varicocele? Does he take any medications? Have any heat exposure? Chemical exposure with work? Diabetic? Overweight? ... the list of questions could go on and on.

He should get started on a fertility blended vitamin now since it takes 3 months for a full sperm cycle and to start seeing benefits from the vitamins.

Make an appointment and keep us posted on what you find out.

With the high sperm production I truly believe the motility is something that will be treatable with either a varicocele repair or adjustments in medications and/or lifestyle.
