my husband has had a vasectomy

Is there a way to get pregant from my husband without breaking the bank? We do not have a lot of money. We have been married for 5years and want to have a baby. What can we do?
AmyAALC responded:
If your husband has had a vasectomy and you wish to get pregnant your options include vasectomy reversal, sperm harvest from your husband and use in IVF (in vitro fertilization) or donor sperm.

The donor sperm would be your cheapest option of all three. For a biological child with your husband a reversal would be your cheaper option over IVF.

Choosing a full-time vasectomy reversal clinic is key in order to get the best results. This is a microsurgery technique that takes years of training and high volumes to get success rates in the high 90%. Do your research and speak with as many reversal doctors as possible to help find the one that is correct for you.
