Is it me or him?

I'm 32 and my husband is 37. 2 years ago we tried to get pregnant and I started feeling all the symptoms of implantation etc. but eventually instead of getting pregnant, I ended up getting a series of pains in my abdomin. After a series of test and ultrasounds, I found out I had a cyst on my ovary. I was prescribed LoestrinFe to help it to go away. My gyn didn't listen to me when I said I believed the onset of this was him trying to get me pregnant. So we recently tried again this past October, I started getting nausea, breast soreness, cravings but when I took a pregnancy test, it was negative. My friends told me I could be pregnant and even if I got my period it was possible etc. In my heart I knew something was not right because I have been pregnant before but never carried to term. So this time around in addition to the symptoms, I got serious cramping and pains so after another series of tests and 2 ultrasounds vaginally and abdominal, they said I had a polyp. We tried yet a 3rd time and I got another on the opposite side of my ovary so one left and one on the right. What is this and why is it happening? Is it his sperm? Please help because he is in denial when I say it may be him - being that he already has 3 boys ages, 12, 13 and 17. He doesn't eat well all the time but I try to cook us healthy meals and get him to drink more water but its hard and he doesn't get much excersise. He tries though.

It doesn't hurt to get him on a good diet and vitamin to make sure he's producing healthy sperm. Although this sounds more like problems after the fertilization process so it's likely his sperm is okay. It is always hard to pinpoint what causes miscarriages, implantation problems or other early pregnancy complications. Have you had a hormone workup or any workups on your side?

Although this sounds more like problems after the fertilization process so it's likely his sperm is okay. It is always hard to pinpoint what causes miscarriages, implantation problems or other early pregnancy complications. Thank you Amy. I have not had any hormone work done, I've just been following drs. orders and taking birth control. I'm just so surprised that this keeps happening. At least I have some insight now whereas before I was completely in the dark and did not want to insult him yet I knew something was not quite right. I will also get him to try and take his vitamins and sleep earlier. Something has got to give.
